Selling products to golf course pro shops.?
Question by quinn b: Selling products to golf course pro shops.?
I have a couple of golf products that I would like to get into golf shops. I am a start up and dont have the sales force to go after these places individually. Does anyone know if there is a golf shop sales organization that I can contact to have them represent my products. Thanks

One option to consider is looking at the companies that manage courses; Kemper Sports Management, American Golf are two firms that have a fairly large portfolio of properties under their belt.
The other option is looking at resorts and ownership companies.

I hope you have patents and production lines set up.
Have you done the market reseach as well? (gotten feedback from other golfers?) They may give ideas like: variety of colours; packaging and instructions; water proofing, etc
Get a web site as well for extra items, and make sure your web address is on every packaging. That way, even if only one line of items are popular for the shops, happy customers can order more items straight from you.
Good luck
