Fortune Brands EPS, sales beat
The maker of home products, liquors and golf equipment said Q2 EPS jumped 40% to 98 cents, beating views by 22 cents. Sales rose 9% to .9 bil, topping views for .8 bil. Fortune Brands revised its full-year EPS forecast to .60-.90, but the midpoint is still below views for .84.
